Welcome to the Old Louisville Chamber of Commerce, located in the heart of Old Louisville, the third largest Historical Preservation District in the U.S. Old Louisville was built as a suburb of Louisville in the 1870s and consists of nearly 48 city blocks of Victorian Era homes.

Nestled between the steel towers of commerce downtown, The Mighty Ohio River, The University of Louisville, Spaulding University, and Churchill Downs sits America’s most noted Victorian neighborhood!

Stroll by our Victorian mansions; enjoy an event in the famous Central Park, designed by the famous Fredrick Law Olmstead. Stop in at our Visitor’s Center for a personal education on the blocks upon blocks of beautiful architecture and history that will keep you wanting for more.

Like most urban areas in our nation’s history, we fell into to an era of vacant buildings as the city grew its many suburban areas. Now, we are back and thriving with countless restoration projects both residential and commercial.

Come invest in an experience of culture, The St James Art Show, The Garvin Gate Blues Festival, or one of the many other many activities throughout the year. Don’t forget one of the many restaurants or businesses along the way!
