New Yorl City, NY - A new take on the "steak house" has been unveiled with the opening of "Bistecca Fiorentina - Tuscan Steak", an Italian steak house serving top quality meat as well as other traditional Tuscan dishes.
The restaurants's spotlight is, of course, the Bistecca Fiorentina, the glory of Tuscan meats. A porterhouse steak (32 oz. certified Angus steak for one or a 50 oz. steak for two), brushed with Tuscan olive oil, garlic, and rosemary, seared over aromatic wood so that the juicyred interior is enclosed in a char broiled crust.
Other Tuscan dishes on the menu are game dishes like Parpardella con Cognilo - Parpardella wiht rabbit sauce, Trippa alla Toscana
- Tuscan stle tripe,
Ribolita - vegetable minestrone with black cabbage and toasted bread, Tortelli Funghi - half moon shaped ravioli with mushrooms.
